Users

Configure local or domain users to logon on Host Provisioning Administration console.

tip

For domain users you need to create a domain first. To logon to Host Provisioning administration console with a domain account use the format user@domain or domain\user, e.g. user@hps.net or HPS\user

tip

After setting or removing a group, you need to logout from the administration console or wait until the authentication cookie to expire to take effect.

Logout

Click on the user name on the upper right corner, in the drop down menu select Logout. The authentication cookie will be destroyed, you will need to type your username and password.

Reset a user password

If you have the required permissions, you can reset a local user password by selecting the user account and clicking on EDIT.

Domain user accounts will have the password option greyed out.

Change user password

Click on the username on the upper right corner, in the drop down menu select Change Password.

Default admin password

When first installed, an admin user is created with password changeme, you should change the password to avoid unauthorized access.

Other user options

Users can select language and the Administration console theme. Click on the user name on the upper right corner and select Settings.
