vDisks

A vDisk Group is chain of VHDx containing one or more base images, it is the basics of Host Provisioning. Create Compact Profiles and assign them to a vDisk Group to save space.

Manage vDisks and create differential disks for updates, promote or demote disks for testing, upgrades or downgrades.

Significantly reduce the size of the VHDx images by removing unused installation files, compressing or defragging the vDisks, expect up to a 50% of size reduction. Only bases will be compacted but not differencing vDisks.
