Computers

Before deploying a new computer, use the computer's MAC address to add it to Host Provisioning, after being deployed, computers will get new vDisks and configuration from servers.

Set the Computer Group the system will be part of. The options established for a Computer come from the options set on the Computer Group.

Most of the options are overridable in the computer's configuration window.

tags

A tag icon will be added to the computer for all overriden configurations, so you can easily identify the systems with a specific configuration.

These options are specific for a Computer:

Option	Description
Hostname	The hostname that will be applied to the computer following Windows rules for hostnames, maximum 15 characters. Do not use the full qualified name with the domain's suffix
Mac Address	The unique Mac address that identifies the computer, type the address in upper/lowercase with no colons or hyphens
Mode	MANT/TEST/PRO to specify the type of vDisks the computer will download. The PRO mode will download a PRO vDisk chain, the TEST mode TEST and PRO, the MANT will download all modes
Computer Group	The Computer Group assigned to the host
Force Deployment	Forces a deployment of the current or a new version if available, takes precedence over persistent flag. After being deployed, this flag will be removed
